Lunch With Rob Hill Sr.

These photos are long over due. Right when summer started, and yes i’m talking about this summer that just passed, The CAMDA Sports Foundation hosted an event that brought Rob Hill Sr. to Toronto for the very first time. If you are not familiar with Rob Hill Sr., GOOGLE HIM. What I will say about him is he is a very wise young man who speaks on and shares his experiences that relate to Love, Heartache, Joy, Confusion, and Commitments.

Below are photos from the very private and very exclusive lunch that only a few select ticket holders were invited to. Lunch was prepared and presented by The Art of catering. Excellent.

All photos were captured on an HTC One.

There is a very special and exclusive one-on-one conversation experience coming that includes Christina Cheng. #JustWaitOnIt

Carnival Glory – Goodbye Summer

If you know me, you know that I very rarely go on vacation or anywhere. I have an interest in traveling but I’ve never really been focused enough to act and make it happen, till now. A day and half in South Beach, Miami and then a 7 day cruise. We unfortunately had to skip Nassau – Bahamas because of a storm warning but we we cruised to St. Thomas, San Juan – Puerto Rico, and Grand Turk – Turks and Caicos. Amazing.

Here some of the photos I capture along the way.
All images were captured on my iPhone 5 and edited in VSCO.

This is Not A Toy

Titled “This Is Not A Toy” and curated by none other than Pharrell Williams this colourful exhibit was on display at the Toronto Design Exchange from February 7th till May 19th, 2014; and you still probably missed it. I went on April 4th, 2014 but only because it was a crazy winter and i was swamped with work-related things to tend to.

“This Is Not A Toy” is the world’s first exhibition featuring a collection of contemporary sculptures, figurines and artworks created by artist including Takashi Murakami, KAWS, FriendsWithYou, Course, Huck Gee, and Frank Kozik.

Below are some of the images I captured on my HTC One.

Dine With Cadillac Series – Exclusive Escalade Film Festival Experience

Sasha Exeter of SoSasha.com, teamed up with friend, Garrett Tonge of Gtonge1.com, who she has collaborated with several times before in the past on lifestyle projects, to launch the Dine With Cadillac series. The inaugural event took place during this year’s Toronto International Film Festival  and was held at The Spoke Club during the Nikki Beach Toronto  Pop-Up. Over a delicious multi-course brunch served in the venue’s private wine cellar, their guests got to interact with the Cadillac Brand Director, Mahmoud Samara and the PR/Media team, who brought everyone up to speed on the amazing technologies that will be found later this year in the brand’s 2015 line-up.

Warner Lifestyle + LeBron James

Saturday, August 2nd 2014 – Wayne Warner of Warner Lifestyle hosted LeBron James and guests at Maison on Mercer and i was hired to capture moments throughout the night. Lebron was in the building and so was his long time friend DJ StephFloss (Cleveland), along side Toronto natives DJ Spoonz and HustleGRL.

The energy was crazy, the music was loud, ladies were beautiful and the fellas came correct; bellow are the photos.

Shout out to Patrick Patterson (Toronto Raptors), the GOAT oh HipHop Journalism Elliot Wilson, and Brittany Sky.

Warner Lifestyle AWWA 2014

Wayne Warner of Warner Lifestyle presented the 2014 instalment of the All White Wear Affair. I’ve been involved with this particular event for the last 4 years and this just might have been the best one yet. Everything that could have gone wrong went right from people following the dress code and making sure their gear was ironed out to it still being well 30 degrees well into the next morning.

Mr. Warner, as some call him, is not new to the city and far from inexperienced when it comes to designing and implementing event concepts and that showed with this event. Well over 800 people, all available booths were sold out and the soundtrack was controlled by Warner Lifestyle residents DJ Charlie Brown, DJ Spoonz and Kid Kut on the mic.

Below is a collection of photos from the Warner Lifestyle AWWA 2014. Enjoy.
